Accessibility Statement
The Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) endeavours to make its websites and mobile applications accessible in compliance with the Federal Act on Barrier-Free Access to Federal Websites and Mobile Applications (Web Accessibility Act – WZG) BGBl. I. No. 59/2019 as amended.

Status of compatibility with the requirements
This web application has been WACA certified on behalf of EQS Group GmbH and has been awarded the WACA certificate version WCAG 2.1 – AA in Silver on 24.07.2020."Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.1" conformance level AA has therefore been fulfilled to a very high degree. All content and functionalities are accessible to all users. Optional extended functionalities are also generally accessible, but some users may find that they cannot be operated in an ideal manner. These functional ranges are subject to continuous review and are improved by EQS Group.
The following is a summary of the issues that prevented a "Gold Certification" (WCAG 2.1 – AA in Gold):
Page 1 "Introduction”
- Within the main page, the H1 heading is only used once. H1 headings are also used when you open further modal pop-up windows (e.g. “Data protection" or “Company details"). When using older screen readers, this may cause irritation. This finding also applies to other pages of the application that contain modal pop-up windows.
- The combination of < div >-element as a child element of a < button >-element has been evaluated as possibly relevant to accessibility at the time of certification, however this should not limit accessibility.
Page 2 “Security page”
No complaints.
Page 3 "Select category”
- The combination of < div >-element as a child element of a < button >-element has been evaluated as possibly relevant to accessibility at the time of certification, however this should not limit accessibility.
- 1.The ID "delict-select-explained" existed twice at the time of certification. However, an ID may only be assigned once.
Page 4 "Submit report”
- The page may contain a group of input fields, which can be duplicated with a button "More". This button only becomes active once text is entered in one of the free text fields. Before then, the button is inactive. In this state, the contrast between the button’s text colour and background colour is somewhat too weak.
Page 5 "Logout" (mailbox area)
- Due to its simple structure, the page does not contain a heading and only shows a short reference text. Consequently, accessibility should be barely restricted.
Modal pop-up “Print view”
- The window closes automatically after 4 minutes. The remaining time is always displayed and can be reset to 4 minutes with a button. However, at the time of certification, the timer’s reset button was not read aloud by the NVDA screen reader in the Firefox web browser, and thus could not be operated. However, the window could be reopened at any time. Therefore, accessibility should not be significantly restricted.
