Standing up for integrity and sustainability together

Why submit a report?

  • Every report of possible crimes and other reportable violations is important and helps to uncover improper circumstances and prevent harm.
  • With your support, we can effectively safeguard the dependability and integrity of our group, thereby also ensuring our long-term success.
  • In this way, you contribute to a transparent work environment in line with our values and to the continual improvement of our company.

What can be reported?

You can report any suspicion of a possible violation of statutory regulations – such as fraud, breach of trust or corruption – that has a relationship with the DB Group.

Examples include potential violations by business partners of DB, including serious risks and violations of human rights and environmental laws by direct and indirect suppliers, as well as reports on possible violations committed by employees of the DB Group.

Reports that refer to topics outside of these categories will not be further pursued via this system. In particular, customer complaints concerning products or services of DB are not valid topics of whistleblower reports.

Protection, confidentiality and fairness

The protection of whistleblowers in accordance with statutory provisions will always be ensured. All reports are handled with the utmost confidentiality. Our process is designed to be independent and non-partisan and to guarantee fair and prompt investigations. Those involved are granted the presumption of innocence until the violation is proven.

We would like to expressly encourage you to include your name with your report in order to simplify the investigation of the situation. Regardless of your choice, we ask that you set up a secured postbox. This simplifies your communication with us. If you wish to remain anonymous, your identity will not be stored in the system.

Please submit your reports in good faith and according to your best knowledge, and clearly indicate conjecture and your own conclusions as such. We ask you to consider that intentional or grossly negligent false accusations can have consequences under criminal and civil law.

You can find additional information in this regard on this page under ‘Information on data protection.’ The rules of procedure for the complaints process under the German Supply Chain Act (LkSG) can be found here.
