AIT Austrian Institute of Technology: Incident Reporting

We are Austria's largest research and technology organisation (RTO) and majority owned by the Republic of Austria (50.46%). In our role as public officials and public contractor we are thus subject to audits, including by the Court of Audit. Lawful and ethical behaviour are our fundamental principles.

The following Incident Reporting System is open to you as an employee, former employee, interns, PhDs, freelancers of AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH and its full subsidiaries – LKR Leichtmetallkompetenzzentrum Ranshofen GmbH, Seibersdorf Labor GmbH and Nuclear Engineering Seibersdorf GmbH – as well as our business partners or cooperation partners and bodies of the company for reporting possible legal and compliance violations.

The Incident Reporting Portal supplements the communication channels available for reporting breaches to date, including reports to the direct line managers and team leaders. The electronic system allows you to safely and anonymously report any potential incidents and questions regarding illegal or non-compliant behaviour.

All reports and questions submitted via the system will first be directed to quality management. Here they will either be processed directly or delegated to the manager responsible in each case. The selected persons are specially trained and are subject to extended confidentiality obligations.

We guarantee that we will uphold the compliance guidelines as carefully and fully as possible and thank you for your assistance.
