Harmful conduct is often not addressed via the usual reporting channels out of fear for personal repercussions. Therefore, we are providing the Hahn-Schickard whistleblowing system to protect all parties involved. The purpose of this whistleblowing system is to offer Hahn-Schickard employees as well as external whistleblowers the opportunity to report violations/infringements to the responsible Hahn-Schickard offices. Communication is protected. Whistleblowers can maintain their anonymity without having to fear any personal repercussions.

The information is initially received via the system by our Chief Compliance Officer and our Chairman of the Works Council. They handle the processing of the report and give the information to the examining committee. Depending on the severity of the violation, the committee is composed of the Hahn-Schickard board of directors or the committee consisting of the institute management and the executive board or the respective institute management. We carefully and confidentially examine all information and punish actual violations consistently and appropriately.
